About me
Laura Moshfegh
Communications Expert in AI and Social Media
My professional journey brings together communication, teaching and coaching. With the support of a tennis scholarship, I studied communication in the United States and went on to complete an MBA. During this time, I contributed to research projects on communication and social media.
I then spent more than ten years working in international corporate communications, most recently as Head of Social Media with global responsibility. This experience showed me how important clear communication is when people from different areas work together and navigate change.
Today, I work as a research associate and lecturer at Bern University of Applied Sciences. I support students and create space for exchange and new ideas. My degree in Life Coaching and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Higher Education complement this work.
As a mother of two, I also consider AI and social media from the perspective of families. I want children to explore the possibilities these technologies offer while developing trust in their own ideas and decisions.
ECHT.KI brings these experiences together. I support companies, educational institutions and families in understanding the changes brought about by AI and social media and finding approaches that work in their everyday lives.

Lecturer
CAS Higher Education Didactics
Since 2024, I have been working as a lecturer and research assistant at Bern University of Applied Sciences. There, I teach academic research and writing and supervise projects in the fields of digital communication and marketing.
2014-2023
Head of Social Media
Previously, I worked for almost ten years in corporate communications at an international company, most recently as Head of Social Media. A particular focus was on advising and training employees and managers.
2020-2023
Bachelor of Arts in Life Coaching
In parallel, I pursued further training in coaching and completed a Bachelor's degree in Life Coaching in 2023. This degree provided me with the foundation to professionally support people through change processes.
2010-2014
MBA / Bachelor of Arts in Communications
My academic journey began in the USA, where I earned my Bachelor's degree and MBA from Florida Southern College thanks to a tennis scholarship. During this time, I worked in marketing for a healthcare organization and conducted research on social media and digital communication.
