Laura Moshfegh

Technology is changing the way we live, learn and work. One question matters to me above all: What skills do we need to shape these developments with confidence and responsibility?
Over more than ten years in international corporate communications, I learned that new technologies only reach their full potential when people understand them, are involved in shaping change and feel confident enough to embrace new ways of working.
Today, as a mother of two, I see technological progress from another perspective. Children need more than the ability to use digital tools. They need guidance, sound judgement and confidence in their own abilities to navigate a world increasingly shaped by AI and digital media.
Since 2024, I have worked at Bern University of Applied Sciences at the intersection of communication, education and AI. These professional and personal experiences inspired me to found ECHT.KI.
I see great potential in AI and digital media. At the same time, I am convinced that human skills such as communication, critical reflection, empathy and genuine human connection are becoming more important than ever.
Through ECHT.KI, I support schools, parents and businesses in strengthening these skills and using digital technologies confidently, safely and effectively.

2024-2025
Lecturer
CAS Higher Education Didactics
Since 2024, I have been working as a lecturer and research assistant at Bern University of Applied Sciences. There, I teach academic research and writing and supervise projects in the fields of digital communication and marketing.
2014-2023
Head of Social Media
Previously, I worked for almost ten years in corporate communications at an international company, most recently as Head of Social Media. A particular focus was on advising and training employees and managers.
2020-2023
Bachelor of Arts in Life Coaching
In parallel, I pursued further training in coaching and completed a Bachelor's degree in Life Coaching in 2023. This degree provided me with the foundation to professionally support people through change processes.
2010-2014
MBA / Bachelor of Arts in Communications
My academic journey began in the USA, where I earned my Bachelor's degree and MBA from Florida Southern College thanks to a tennis scholarship. During this time, I worked in marketing for a healthcare organization and conducted research on social media and digital communication.
